About Camelbak

While competing in a bike race where water would be scarce, emergency medical technician Michael Eidson came up with a solution. Taking an IV bag filled with water stuffed in a tube sock, he put it on his back and threw the tube over his shoulder. The makeshift hydration pack worked and set in motion a new way to hydrate and CamelBak set out to be the leaders of it.

On-the-go hydration has changed since then (not many cyclists drink out of a sock these days), but CamelBak’s goal has remained the same – bringing you convenient hydration when you need it most.

On-the-go hydration

CamelBak’s hydration packs are lightweight yet have enough space for your water bladder and some extra gear. The back panel lets the breeze flow through, and reflective details have you shining at night.

For handheld hydration, CamelBak sport water bottles fit easily in your bottle cage or can be popped in your backpack for later. Insulation keeps your water cool from trail head to home.

Reusable hydration solutions

CamelBak works to target the waste that single-use plastics cause by creating durable and reusable hydration solutions.

They use recycled plastics in their products, keeping more waste out of our oceans and landfills. CamelBak aids in the fight against climate change by implementing goals to reduce their measurable emissions.
